In order to achieve our Purpose and Vision, we must have the right environment. Our
Guiding Principles are our core beliefs, they shape who we are as a church, and guide how we
conduct ourselves in our community and how we will ultimately "Make a Difference".
People Matter To God
We believe all people matter to God and therefore all people matter to us.
Jesus Answered: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all
your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind" and, "Love
your neighbor as yourself."
Luke 10:27
Biblical Authority
We believe god has spoken to us through the scriptures. Therefore, the Bible is our ultimate authority. All matters
of life and faith will be determined by God's holy Word.
The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful
to teach us what is true and makes us realize what is wrong in our lives.
It straightens out and helps us to do what is right?
Psalms 119:105-106
Intimacy with God
God desires an intimate relationship with every believer. Through prayer, meditation, worship, and Bible Study, we
can pursure and achieve intimacy with the Father.
Jesus Said, "I am the vine , you are the branches. If you abide in Me and
I in you, you will bear much fruit, but apart from Me you can do nothing."
John 15:5
Culturally Relevant
Teaching is for Life Change. Our role is intelligently and creatively communicate the message of Christ in a
relevant way to our generation. Through exciting worship and opportunities for meaningful relationships, we will be
able to connect to people and people with God.
Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone to win as
many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. to those
under the Law I bacame like one under the Law (though I myself am not under the Law),
so as to win those under the Law. To those not having the Law I became like one not
having the Law (though I am not free from God's Law but am under Christ's Law)
so as to win those not having the Law.
I Corinthians 9:19-21
I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.

Authentic Community
We believe that accountability, care, and a sense of belonging are critical to balance and progress in our spiritual
journey. These three things are best acheived within the context of a small group of like-minded,
relationally-connected believers.
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Galations 6:2
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but
let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Relational Evangelism
We believe that all believers have the responsibility of carrying out the great commission in thier sphere of influence.
Always be prepared to give us an answer to everyone who asks you to
give the reason of the hope that you have.
I Peter 3:15
Strategic Service
We believe that EVERY MEMBER IS A MINISTER. God has gifted every member of the body of Christ
in a different and unique way and each believer is responsible for using thsoe gifts. Helping members
discover their giftedness is an important part of who we are. However, it is not enough to exercise the
use of gifts. To achieve maximum impact of their spiritual gifts, so that through strategic service to God we can
"make a difference".
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.
There are different kinds of working,
but the same God works all of them in all men.

Investing in Others
We believe that every believer is responsible for passing along to others the knowledge, skills, and opportunites
for service that God, through others, entrusted to them.
He appointed twelve- designating them apostles - that they might be with
Him and that he might send them out to preach.
Mark 3:14
Focused on Creativity and Innovation
To connect this generation with God, we must be flexible and ready to change when necessary to reach people
with the good news of Christ. We must be committed to finding ever changing ways to share a never changing
message.
Ministry will be done with Excellence and Integrity
We believe that excelled honors God and motivates people.
In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching
show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned,
so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to
say about us.
