Life is full of places to be and things to do. Here at NorthStar, we believe that Recreation
is a way to take a break from life;s everyday events and do some things that you enjoy. We also
believe that Recreation is a great way to get to know other people of the church who you might
not get to know by just being here on Sunday mornings. We have different events for all ages and
we hope that you will find a life "break" in one of these events.
During the Spring and Summer seasons, we have a softball team that plays 2
nights a week at The Kiwana's MetroPlex off of Jordan Lane. We play in the Church
League.
If you like to play golf, then you might want to consider joining us for one of our
golf outings. During the months of April to October, we try to get together at area courses
and play a round of golf on different afternoons once a month. Men and Women are encouraged
to participate. The cost varies depending on the course we play.
As part of our monthly All-Star Adventures during the month of April, we have a church
wide picnic at Monte Sano State Park.
For our November All-Star Adventure, we hold a Father / Child(Children) campout.
Men, do you enjoy playing basketball? We get together on Monday nights at Mount Zion
Baptist Church for pick-up basketball. Cost is $3 per person each night.
