AOK (1st Sunday)
We desire to go into the community and make a difference for Christ
through "Acts of Kindness." We typically meet the 1st Sunday of the
month after church. As a group we will go out for lunch, do our mission
project, and then return to the church, usually no later than 2:00pm.
We have been doing this in two primary ways:
- Nursing Home - the youth visit with people in the home. Sometimes we make things during our small group to take to the residents to brighten their day and other days we just chat. Several of the youth have built relationships with the residents and both look forward to their time together.
- Hospital Surgery/Critical Care Lounge - the youth deliver snack baskets to the hospital lounge to meet the needs of those who were unexpectedly called to the hospital on the weekends. The baskets have been well received.
Small Group (2nd and 4th Sundays)
We meet Sunday mornings twice per month during the message for a time of sharing. Plan on joining us!
Activities (3rd Sunday)
On every 3rd Sunday after church, we get together for lunch and then a fun activity!
